Pat Snidvongs
Pat Snidvongs pursued studies in European literature, Classical philology, and Indo-European linguistics at Brown, Columbia, Harvard, Oxford, Paris, Princeton, and Strasbourg, among other institutions. In her doctoral dissertation at the University of Oxford, she investigated the semantics of reduplicated present formations in the oldest texts (namely the Rig Veda and the Avesta) of the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. As a research fellow at Marconi University, she is currently conducting a study on the lexicalization of the adjective class in Vedic Sanskrit and Old Persian. Her upcoming research project will focus on the grammatical peculiarities of the Late Avestan texts.
