Federico Viglino

Federico Viglino earned a BA in Classical Studies at the University of Pisa in 2022 with a thesis on the semantic functions of the genitive case in the ancient languages of Italy. He went on to specialize in historical and comparative linguistics at the same university, completing his MA in 2024 with a thesis in Greek dialectology focused on diatopic variation in the inflection of contracted verbs. He is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program (40th cycle) at “Guglielmo Marconi” University. His main research interests lie in Indo-European historical linguistics, with particular attention to the Greek verbal system and the study of Insular Celtic languages, especially Old Irish.
